Descrizione speaker

I have practiced exclusively fly fishing since 2016, but my introduction to the world of fishing began at a very young age.

As a child, accompanied by my father, I started fishing in both freshwater and saltwater, using natural baits and varying techniques such as bolognese, bottom fishing (bolentino), trolling, and spearfishing.

In my youth, I also got closer to spinning fishing and the practice of catch and release.

Fishing remained an occasional activity until I discovered fly fishing, to which I now dedicate all my free time.

Living in Verona, the river I frequent the most is the Adige, but there are certainly many other options. Even traveling an hour or more, many other interesting fishing spots can be reached.

Besides the Verona stretch of the Adige, I have also spent a lot of time at the Brenta River upstream from Bassano Del Grappa, the streams of Vallagarina and Piana Rotaliana, and the streams in the upper Sarca area.

The plains offer other fishing environments, perhaps less exciting but still interesting, especially for cyprinids. The technique I prefer the most is definitely dry fly fishing in streams, but I also find streamer fishing particularly thrilling.
