The Palladian Basilica is admired for its "loggia" in Serliane, designed by the great architect Andrea Palladio. This building has been included by UNESCO in the list of world heritage properties and is a National Monument.

Lots of events taking place in Vicenza are organized around the Basilica Palladiana, which attracts residents and tourists of all ages, thanks to the small bars surrounding it, the Jewel Museum and the exhibitions that are set up temporarily or permanently within it.
