Sea Bass in the Lagoon: technique and live spinning

Hall A1 - Acquademo

This year again, the Acquademo live will be commented on and demonstrated by Jury Perissotto, an expert in spinning in lagoon environments. The speaker's intervention will begin with a technical in-depth analysis of lagoon fishing, focusing particularly on searching for sea bass in shallow waters, a complex context where water reading, lure selection, and action control make the difference. Jury will analyze the typical conditions of these environments – shallow water, slow currents, mixed bottoms, and the presence of natural obstacles – explaining how the approach must be silent and thoughtful, with targeted casts and retrieves designed to stimulate often suspicious fish.
For this scenario, the new JATSUI lures will be presented. Alosa, a newly conceived jerk, characterized by proportions intentionally unbalanced towards the nose: a design choice that guarantees an extremely stable trim, ideal for working correctly even in very shallow waters. Hermes, on the other hand, is the new WTD designed to expand the sliding action thanks to a slim-designed tail, capable of making the movement more fluid and natural during the walk.
During the demo, two complete combos will also be presented. Cliff GTX Jatsui, a 30T carbon rod with Fuji components, paired with the Wax Flux reel, equipped with infinite anti-reverse and an ergonomic knob, designed to ensure comfort and sensitivity even after many hours of fishing. Following this, Jury will introduce a second technical configuration: the new Jatsui Aqua rod, dedicated to a more technical approach to fishing sessions and controlled actions, coupled with the Tica Perf Pro reel. Made of carbon composite, this reel stands out for its lightness, 9 bearings, and machined aluminum spool, offering fluidity, reliability, and precision in every phase of the fishing action.
An opportunity to see in the field how targeted technical choices can make the difference and transform theory into tangible results.
