The Carnia Fishing Guide association was born from the development of a tourism project centered around fishing. The project envisions niche tourism, using no-kill fishing (i.e., release of the fish) as a means of entering new, high-end international markets. The association's goal is to promote the area not only through its rivers and streams, but also through its history, culture, and food and wine.
