I am an energy engineer and a sea lover, with a strong passion for fishing and sustainability.
I started fishing at the age of 5 along the Salento coast, first with a simple fixed rod, then I tried spearfishing near the shore, and after coming of age I began practicing bottom fishing, spinning, and rock fishing.
My passion for the sea is expressed through my Facebook page “La pesca in mare” and through the series of events “A pesca di immondizia Italia.”
The blog La pesca in mare was born with the goal of exploring, improving, and sharing fishing techniques, all guided by mutual respect and love for the sea.
Today, it has become a well-established presence within the sport and recreational fishing community. I created the blog in 2015, when I was 26 years old and knew very little about how fishing was represented on social media.
Over time, I realized that anglers needed help to better understand fishing laws—often not easy to interpret—and they also wanted to stay updated on the latest news.
That’s how La pesca in mare embraced a new mission: to inform and share with fans the regulations, insights, curiosities, and the future awaiting the world of fishing.
