Gionata Paolicchi

My name is Gionata, and I started fishing thanks to my grandfather Giuseppe, who used to take me to the pier in Forte dei Marmi when I was a child.

I was born and live in Versilia, Tuscany, and I’ve been working as a video and photo reporter and journalist in the sport fishing industry since the end of 1992.

In the late ’90s, I also began working as a fishing guide in countries such as Canada, Alaska, Cuba, Madagascar, and many others. One of the initiatives that has brought me the most satisfaction in the world of sport fishing is the charity event “La Pesca del Cuore,” which began in 2009 together with Carlo Conti and many other celebrities from the world of entertainment, cinema, and sports.

Until 2010, I collaborated with the publishing house Olimpia, eventually becoming the Editorial Director of their fishing magazines. I worked with the channel Pesca TV, producing many television formats, and for the past 10 years, I have been making videos exclusively for Italian Fishing TV.

My closest working partner is Roberto Ripamonti, whom I met in Austria in 1995. Since then, we’ve made at least 500 videos together and still collaborate to this day.

I’m now very happy and honored to start a new adventure with Pescare Show beginning in 2026!
