Hi, my name is Mario, and my passion for fishing started when I was about four years old, trying—with the help of my father—to catch any fish I could find in just a few centimeters of water, at the seaside, using a simple net and bread as bait.
Over the years, my relationship with some older fishermen, from whom I learned and with whom I shared many fishing experiences, led me to develop a strong interest in fishing techniques related to gilt-head bream (sarago) and octopus, which are currently the two species I love fishing for the most.
What is INPESCA?
Towards the end of 2018, I decided to start the YouTube channel “INPESCA” with the intention of sharing these techniques through videos showing my fishing adventures. This evolved into the channel’s two main formats: Bolognese Extreme (surf fishing for sarago during storms) and Octopus Fishing.
My journey on various social platforms has allowed me to create a wonderful community that is constantly growing, and the opportunity to meet great people and new friends like Piero, Alberto, and Taglia, who today collaborate on the entire project, improving it and bringing fresh ideas.
Recently, we also launched our online store, inpescastore.it, which is a dedicated space for the community where we dive deeper into the main techniques of the channel (Bolognese Extreme and Octopus Fishing) and where we sell, under our brand, specific gear to practice these techniques—gear that we showcase in our YouTube and Instagram videos.
