Mattia Lanzoni

Mattia Lanzoni is a fixed-term researcher (RTD-A) in Ecology (BIO/07) at the Department of Environmental and Prevention Sciences, University of Ferrara. He graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Ferrara and obtained his PhD in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from the joint program of the Universities of Ferrara, Parma and Florence with an excellent evaluation. He holds a first-level Master's degree in "Organic Product Operator-Probio", obtained from the University of Ferrara in 2020. He has a National Qualification for the profession of Biologist. He was a research fellow in ecology at the Department of Life Sciences and Biotechnology of the University of Ferrara, where he conducted research and held teaching positions for the Renewable Biological Resources course in the Master's Degree in Ecology and Evolution, for the laboratory module of the Ecology course, and for the laboratory module of the Ecosystem Management course. He carried out technical-scientific collaboration and technology transfer activities for Legacoop Agroalimentare Nord Italia E.R Fisheries section in the 2017-2019 biennium and worked as a Cat D1 biologist in the environmental area at the Management Authority for Parks and Biodiversity - Po Delta E-R, in the 2020-2021 biennium. He is the author of 27 publications in international journals and 15 in national ones, and is responsible for activities and a member of working groups in numerous national and international research projects in aquaculture and fish community ecology.
