Simona Clò is an Italian marine biologist and researcher who coordinates European Union LIFE projects for the protection of protected species. She currently holds the position of Project Manager of the LIFE EUsharks project at the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station and is a representative for the IUCN Shark Specialist Group. Formerly scientific manager of MedSharks, her activity focuses on monitoring large predators in the Mediterranean and implementing conservation strategies for the protection of marine biodiversity.
