My name is Antonio Sabetta and I was born in 1961 in Salerno.
I have been fly-fishing since the second half of the 1980s, and in 1987 I began my involvement in 'aulic' and 'environmental' associations as a founding member and vice-president of Mosca Club Salerno and later of Mosca Club Campania.
Between one fishing trip and another, mainly on my 'home' rivers, the Sele and Tanagro, I was president of the Salerno provincial section of WWF Italy and currently president of ARS-APS (Associazione Riqualificazione Fiume Sele - Sele River Requalification Association), which for more than a decade has been involved in the management of the ZRS (Restoration Areas) of the concession sections of the Sele and Tanagro rivers, in environmental education activities for the protection of river ecosystems
as well as in the popularisation of fly fishing.
Making a virtue out of necessity, I have always made my own dry flies, in particular the 'infinite' ones, for use in fishing and for the pleasure of making them.
