My passion for fishing started from a very young age, I essentially started walking and fishing at the same time. After experimenting with numerous fishing techniques, I came to artificial fly fishing about 12 years ago, also thanks to the members of ARS Fiumi Sele e Tanagro, and it was love at first sight.

My favourite technique is the dry fly. I think this is the purest and most fascinating form of fishing technique. The fishing session starts at home at the terminal and ends with the coveted catch, sometimes waiting hours and hours on the river waiting for a hatch and a fish to start feeding on the insects dragged by the current.

Construction is my passion within a passion. Over time I have tried to gradually improve, even putting myself to the test by taking part in various construction contests (and obtaining good results) and thanks to the advice of Nunzio Troisi, a founding member of ARS Fiumi Sele e Tanagro and a highly experienced (and patient) builder.

Although I am fond of my favourite rivers, the Sele and the Tanagro, in recent years I have begun to frequent many other waterways, both in Italy and abroad, in search of trout and grayling, preferably wild and difficult to fool. My mantra in fishing is: 'If I don't suffer, I don't have fun'.
