One of my earliest childhood memories is playing with a rubber shark.
27 years later, nothing’s really changed. Well, maybe a few things… now I have two degrees (in Biology and Marine Biology), and I’m on the academic research path. The topic? Fisheries science, of course. But that thrill of casting a lure into the water and catching a fish? It’s the same as it was 20 years ago—if not stronger!

🎣 THE BLOG: FISHING & BIODIVERSITY
Fishing & Biodiversity was born to help people discover, through sport fishing, the widest variety of fish species that inhabit our waters.
Size doesn’t matter! Every fish, big or small, has its own charm when seen from the right perspective. Noticing the subtle details that distinguish one species from another brings a whole new level of awareness—and a deeper emotional connection—to sport fishing.
Technique doesn’t matter either! Of course, we love using artificial lures—because tricking a fish with a piece of rubber or metal is just extra satisfying. But the real fun is in constantly experimenting: different spots, different methods, different waters across Italy (and beyond). Whether it’s sea, lake, river, lagoon, stream—or even a puddle, if there’s something with fins inside—we’re fishing it.
The spontaneous spirit of Andrea and his crew makes every fishing adventure feel like a fresh, fun TV episode—full of genuine excitement and curiosity. The rule is simple: go fishing every time you get the chance and tell the story with honesty and humor.
