Aldo Menghini, born in 1964 in Ascoli Piceno, has been working in the automotive and aerospace composite materials sector for over 30 years. Regarding his fishing experiences, the first time he went down the river (together with his father) he was 3 years old.

I was born in Brescia in 1979 and live on the outskirts of Val Trompia, an area rich in lakes and rivers. My passion for fishing began when I was 4 years old, when my father bought me my first fishing rod. Lake fishing was my first passion, perch, sardines and aole the most common fish in Brescia's lakes.

Born in England, Barry Ord Clarke is an internationally acclaimed photographer, author and fly tyer. He has written, co-written and contributed to more than 35 books on fly tying. His latest book is ‘The Feather Benders Advanced Techniques’.

FFI Master Fly Casting Instructor originally from England, Christopher now lives in Switzerland where he works for Guideline Flyfishing and runs his own fly fishing school.

I have been fishing since I was eight years old, enraptured by the exploits of Sanpei in the famous cartoon. After practising various techniques, in 2009 I discovered that the favourite technique of the Japanese boy fisherman existed, so I researched it and started practising it.

Günter Feuerstein, resident in Switzerland but of Austrian origin, is a certified EFFA instructor, specialising as Master Fly Casting Instructor (SH), Underhand Instructor and Fly Fishing Guide.

Hans van Klinken was born in 1956. After his studies, he worked for several years in his father's company. After his compulsory military service, he remained in the army for almost 40 years, retiring in April 2012 as commander of the Royal Dutch Army Gunnery School.

Massimo, for everyone Max, was born in Varese but is a citizen of the world. An adventurous spirit and nature lover, he has been a guide and reference point for the fascinating world of Spey technique with a two-handed rod for years.

René is one of only three Danes to be a certified Master casting instructor in one-handed fly casting (MCI) and two-handed fly casting (THMCI), at Fly Fishers International (FFI). He has taught courses and instructed many hundreds of fly fishers and his knowledge and experience in fly casting is enormous.

Roberto Ripamonti (Turin 1960) is one of the best known Italian anglers in Italy and abroad. For about 30 years, he has been the protagonist, first through magazines and then on video and the web, of thousands of stories, technical articles, films and successful broadcasts.

An angler since childhood, and with a past as an ‘endurance’ athlete, Valerio first came into contact with fly fishing in 1999. He wrote, together with two colleagues, the ‘Fly Fishing Manual’ published by Hoepli, now in its second edition, a comprehensive manual for beginners and experienced fly-fishers, in which he edited the ‘casting’ part.
