Eros Tommasi

My name is Eros Tommasi, I'm 47 years old and I have been fishing for all my life.

My passion for fishing passed on to me from my dad, a tireless fisherman, who has always involved me in his hobby. When I was a child he took me to the banks of the Adda (my river) to fish marble trout, graylings and pikes etc. For this reason I collaborate with some associations for the protection of this river and in particular for the protection of marble trout, fish now endangered.

I practiced several techniques before going to fly fishing. This technique has always fascinated me and especially the construction of the baits. The passion for fly fishing led me to travel to different parts of the world (Alaska, Canada, the United States, Lapland, Ireland).So I learned to build various kinds of flies: trout, pike and sea streamers to get to full dressed and classic salmon fly which I consider the maximum artistic expression. Thanks to this passion I participated in national and international construction competitions and I won various podiums.
