Giovanni De Pace

My name is Giovanni De Pace and I was born in Rome in 1972. At the age of 18, I was very got into fly fishing and at the same time I have nurtured a burning passion for the construction of artificial flies since then. I fished in search of Trout, Temoli and Lucci in most of Europe and in search of Bonefish and Tarpon overseas.

I build artificial flies with the pseudonym of 'GDP Dressing' and I enjoy tying everything, ranging from fresh to Salt water. I mainly love to develop a sea dressing, which attracts me more than any other at the moment. Currently I am part of the Pro-Staff 'Ahrex', 'Sybai' and 'Solarez'. I had the pleasure of taking part to some events, such as 'Fly Tier', different editions of the 'Fly Tying experience' and the E.W.F. of Monaco.

Fly Tying and fly fishing are two inseparable activities for me, that give life to one great passion.
