Born in 1984, born and raised in Parma.
Fishing has been a constant element of my life, at the age of 6 my grandfather and uncle took me with them to fish in the pass on the banks of the Taro and Ceno rivers.
In 1998, caught by a fleeting vision of a fly fisherman swinging his tail in the air, I approached this fantastic discipline by enrolling at Fly Anglers Parma, where I started to take my first steps.
Since then I have tried to refine my construction techniques looking for inspiration from the great builders, one above all Marc Petitjean, trying to be multifaceted by building from Caenis on 22 hooks to pike streamers on 8/0 hooks.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to fish in many rivers of Northern Italy, both in the valley and torrential. I love to fish while hunting in "my" Apennine streams, but also in the midst of hatches on plains with a medium-slow current.
Summing up… Fly fishing is an integral part of my life.
