Massimo Ginanneschi

Of Tuscan origins, born in 1964, he lives and works in the province of Turin;
he began fishing at a very young age, in 1970, after a few years he arrived in the world of competitive sport to which he devoted himself for many years, practicing brook trout and lake trout.

He was founder and president of the Team Lago Gioia association for seven years; thanks to a friend, he approaches fly fishing, of which he is immediately fascinated; he begins to build and this art becomes a disease for him. With a group of friends he founded the section of the CIPM Valli Di Lanzo, he was editor for 5 years of PIPAM "Italian page of fly fishermen", member of the Old River Fly Club Turin.

President and great supporter of the I.F.T.A. "Italian Fly Tyers Association, is still dedicating itself to the expansion of this association, and to the popularization of the construction of artificial flies; he delights in the creation of freshwater flies, but does not disdain lures for sea fishing.

The passion for mechanics introduced him to Franco Cottarelli, owner of the CTA, an excellent manufacturer of made in Italy clamps and became Tester and Pro Team, he is Pro Team of Partridge, GVS Realistic Fly Tying System and Alpiflyfishing.

He collaborated with the magazine Confluenze magazine and Fly fishing, he still collaborates with the magazine Fly fishing and spinning, he is co-author of the book "Construction Recipes" Edizioni MARO.

He participated in some fishing and construction films for Sky TV and Reel Video.

He has a 360 ° view of fly fishing, while preferring nymph fishing.

His favorite waters: Rivers and streams at the bottom of the valley of medium and large flow.
