My name is Fulvio Oliva and I live in Alta Valle Argentina, in the province of Imperia.
The wonderful valley in which I live has made me passionate about nature since I was a child and for this reason at the age of 5 I picked up my first fishing rod; so I tried to learn the first basics of fishing and spinning, undermining my first trout.
At 13, I was intrigued by fly fishing, which I then fell in love with. So I tried to deepen all aspects with the help of fishermen who are experts in this sector, including some components of the SIM. Since then my desire to learn has grown more and more and therefore I have dedicated my free time to try to refine my knowledge and also to explore new waters.
As for construction, I find it a fascinating art and for this reason I love to spend my evenings sitting at the clamp, dedicating myself to it with great care. In particular, I mainly try to build dry flies, nymphs and submerged flies.
In the last year, thanks to the H2O Magazine project, I took a course in Trentino to become a Fishing Guide. In this way I hope to be able to enhance Fly Fishing in my area and I also hope it is an opportunity to travel and receive many new stimuli.
Finally, what I think about this discipline is that it is a perfect blend of Humility, Friendship and Respect for the environment.
