I started fishing at a very young age with the Bolognese, where I learned the basics, respect for river inhabitants and for nature. I have always been a lover of the mountains and those clear and pure waterways, where there was the undisputed Queen: the Trout.
Around the age of 14, so let's talk about '94 I start spinning fishing just to have the opportunity to undermine trout, so I remember this period as a special moment, full of enthusiasm and affection that I receive from my father during our outings in fishing. I owe a lot to my father, who, in addition to his teachings, managed to pass on this passion to me.
After my military career, where for various reasons I had set aside fishing a bit, in 2005 I learned of the existence of a Fly Fishing Club in my city. My luck was to find the right people right away, in fact they were all former Sim instructors. One above all Danilo Foschi, immediately gave his maximum availability to help me learn this new technique and let me enter this wonderful world, in fact the following year I participated in a Sim course, I was amazed by what I saw and by the friendly environment with which I was welcomed.
Since then my presence in the Sim has always been constant, in 2009 I became an Instructor after passing the course that is held every year in Castel di Sangro, in the following years I had the opportunity to teach and transmit this passion. Thanks to people like Osvaldo Galizia President of the Sim and Marino Di Luca Technical coordinator of the School, I was lucky enough to carry out a growth path full of emotions and technical notions that in about 10 years led me to cover roles as Director of the Executive and since 2016 as a member of the Technical Commission.
The enthusiasm that has always accompanied me now is directed towards the new generation, to whom I try to pass on and share everything I have learned over the years.
