Pescare Show 2026 will be twice as big sport, hobbies and nature at the expo and in Rimini

Following the success of its debut in Rimini, Pescare Show is preparing an even bigger and more comprehensive 2026 edition for sport fishing, recreational boating and outdoor activity for enthusiasts and professionals. The event, organized by Italian Exhibition Group and scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th February 2026 at Rimini Expo Centre and on the Riviera, will double its exhibition space, content, competitions and sporting experiences both inside and outside the Expo Centre, strengthening its bond with the local area and further expanding its international dimension.

Six halls, external areas, internationality and bond with the local territory

Spread across six halls, the Pescare Show 2026 exhibition area will promote every aspect of the sector, from sea fishing to fly fishing, from coarse fishing to bass fishing, from spinning to carp fishing. The indoor pools at the Expo Centre will once again host the Casting Pools with the participation of world-renowned masters such as Aitor Coteron, Christopher Rownes, Tellis Katsogiannos and René Gerken.

As confirmation of the event’s growing international dimension, an entire hall will host the World Casting & Fly Casting Championships, Europe's first indoor competition for this discipline, organized and coordinated by FIPSAS with ICFS (International Casting Sport Federation), which will bring over 100 athletes from 10 countries and 9 international judges to Rimini.

"Content and attendances will be hosted in the unique setting of Rimini and the Riviera, adding value to the event,” remarked Valentina Fioramonti, Group Exhibition Manager of the Wellness & Outdoor division at IEG. “With a strong vocation for hospitality, the maritime world, nature and the outdoors, the local area will be able to amplify the public’s experience through activities outside the show, including boat test drives at sea, outdoor initiatives and experiential activities, ensuring collaboration with local companies, partners and institutions."

Special areas, content and innovation for the whole community

The 2026 programme will be organized around thematic areas dedicated to training, entertainment and technical culture. The Fishing Arena will host sessions on sport fishing, recreational fishing and fishing tourism with contributions from FIPSAS and the Emilia-Romagna Region and an abundant panel of guests. The Regional DG Agriculture's Wildlife, Hunting, Fishing and Aquaculture Sector will be presenting the progress made by fish fauna studies and monitoring projects carried out with Bologna University, Ferrara University and as part of the FEAMPA programme.

The Social Media Village will allow the public to meet some of the sector’s most popular names, including Fishing_& Biodiversity, Quintabass, Lovefish, Stefano Adami, Catfish World by Yuri Grisendi, Apesca col Matto, Fivebaits, Salento Fishing Team, Bob Lancia, Fishing Senpai, Manolo Angler e Bucco’s Fishing.

An experiential journey between training and discovery

New features at the 2026 edition will include a new exhibition area dedicated to the manufacture of artificial lures, which will group together small Italian artisan producers engaged in the development of innovative lures and technical solutions.

Fly fishing excellence will be represented by the Fly Tying Experience with around twenty Italian and international fly producers, as well as brands and vertical associations.

The offer will be completed with workshops for learning fly tying methods and meetings on techniques with authors, experts and fly tiers, travel itineraries and the latest publications.

The Live Streaming Stage, coordinated by partner Inside Fishing, will host interviews and live broadcasts, while the FIPSAS Village will offer simulators and test areas for adults and children to promote inclusive sports.

New attendances at the show will include the international Casting for Recovery association, which, through fly casting techniques, helps to rehabilitate women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, and the “Art in Fishing” exhibition created in collaboration with H2O Magazine and the Stanislao Kuckiewicz International Fishing Museum in Castel di Sangro, featuring works by Italian and international artists inspired by fishing imagery.

The event benefits from collaborations with national and international institutions and partners, including the Emilia-Romagna Region, FIPSAS - Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities, ASSONAT, Rimini Yacht Club, Aquabike San Marino, IGFA - International Game Fish Association, and EFFA  - European Fly Fishing Association. Media partnerships have also been confirmed with sector publications H2O Magazine, Italian Fishing TV, Inside Fishing, Match Fishing, RCS Caccia e Pesca TV (SKY channel), Mondo Barca Market, FishingBoat Magazine, Global Fishing, La Pesca Mosca e Spinning, Fly Line Magazine and content creators The Sea Team. International media partners include Angling International and Tackle Trade.
