Worn Wear, new collections, and special guests for the brand’s debut at the show
For Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, fly fishing has always represented a philosophy of life, where observation, care, and respect for ecosystems matter more than equipment. This vision of connection with nature guides Patagonia’s debut at Pescare Show, inviting everyone to experience sport and the outdoors in a conscious way, honoring the resources that make them possible.
During the show, Patagonia will celebrate this philosophy through its Worn Wear program, offering free repairs on one garment per person, from any brand, with no booking required. Extending the life of what we already own is one of the most effective actions we can take to protect the environment—an act of radical responsibility that promotes durability over consumption. Worn Wear is not just a repair service, but a cultural revolution that educates people about conscious consumption and the circular economy.
Patagonia will also host a talk presenting the book “Pheasant Tail Simplicity”, in which three legendary anglers—Yvon Chouinard, Craig Mathews, and Mauro Mazzo—share the philosophy of simplicity that accompanies them on their adventures. Starting from a single pheasant tail feather, the minimalist approach to fly tying and the choice of a few essential flies reflect a more mindful and thoughtful approach to fishing—the same vision of simplicity and respect that Chouinard applies in his company.
